Welcome

May 1, 2008

After about three years, I've finally updated my site. I've got the May 1st Reboot to partially thank for motivating me to get something posted. If you feel up to it give me a thumbs up. The site was a bit rushed and I haven't gotten everything up yet, but I think I'm off to a good start. There are still some bugs that I'm working out and I'll get there soon enough. But if you like what you see, then swing on by again as I will be adding more projects soon. Also, I'd like to give a big thanks to Joshua Rehling for really helping me get this thing off the ground. Thanks Josh.

Bio

An Approximation

I graduated from Kent State University with a combined BS/MA degree from the School of Visual Communication Design, with a minor in Fine Arts. Prior to the completion of my degree(s) I interned with Reudi Ruegg at Designalltag in Zurich, Switzerland, for three months. Upon completion of the internship, I decided that since I was already on the other side of the Atlantic I might as well do some traveling. So I spent five months traipsing across Europe, which was highlighted by hiking across Spain on the Camino de Santiago.

Back stateside, I wrapped up my school work before shuttling myself from Kent to NYC to do a little work with Hillman Curtis. From there, I landed at R/GA where I worked on the IBM, Avaya and Purina accounts. Next, I moved across the continent to San Diego, CA, to work on the SonyStyle account as a consultant at Sapient. After nearly two years at Sapient, I left to work with a couple of friends at Yahoo in an effort to get the Entertainment Division off the ground in Santa Monica, CA.

Following nearly three years at Yahoo, I now find myself working on my own in my little beach bungalow in Venice, CA. With a more flexible schedule, I've had the good fortune to explore more of the great outdoors. My most recent adventures have had me hiking the entire John Muir Trail in August, and exploring the Grand Canyon in October. Those were followed by an incredible walk up the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro in December, which led directly to two weeks of foolhardy loafing in Amsterdam for Christmas. When I returned home and got some rest, I hit the Grand Tetons for a week of deep powder skiing in January. Since then I've been enjoying my local beach break and the blooming mountains of Southern California. As always, I'm excited for what is to come.
